Insymnia mud is one of the best muds I’ve played in years…and I’ve been playing them off and on for 20yrs so that’s saying something. The imm staff is active which is a must nowadays for any mud to survive. Both players and imms are helpful with newbies and quick to respond when you need help. There are lots of original area’s to explore with quests for equipment and quest points that can be used to buy special items.
Insymnia is a full PK mud but don’t let that scare you. Players are generally respectful of letting people level up and max out their char before engaging in combat. Trash talk is welcome and encouraged during PK, who doesn’t enjoy insulting an opponent or trying to get in their head to mess up their game.
When bugs are found they are quickly fixed and imms do what they can for players if it’s proven to be a problem. Right now the player base is small, but it’s small on most muds. I really hope that after reading this some of you come check us out. I look forward to seeing you and of course…kicking your ass once you’re all levelled up *grin*.
Levelling a char to max can take anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks depending on the time you put in. Generally the imms are kind enough to turn on double xp for us on weekends which makes levelling fast. There are 100 levels on this mud with the ability to remort and then another 100 levels.
