The time has come, friends.
 
After 7 wonderful (okay, not always, but mostly) years, Temporal Rifts
is shutting down. The owner and staff are weary and life in the real
world has taken more and more of our time and focus from the virtual
one.
 
July 4 is Founders' Day. Come join us for a celebration of 7 years of 
fun, drama, insanity, friendship, roleplay, snarkiness, jackassery,
and all the other things that comprise a mud.
 
It will be a party, complete with prizes (that you can't really use, 
but what the heck?), fun, reminiscences, etc. If you've ever played, 
feel free to stop by and share your memories.
 
A few things right up front:
 
1) No, you may not have a copy of the code or your pfile in whole or 
   in part.
2) If you drop by to cause trouble, you will be unwelcome and treated
   as such.
3) Show others courtesy, no matter what your history with them or see
   2) above.   
 
With those things in mind, come say goodbye to the Rifts and leave
your contact info for friends, etc.

Temporal Rifts offers 300 hundred mortal levels as well as a 
multiclass system. New ideas and tweaks to existing elements are
implemented frequently.

Temporal Rift allows NPK/PK/PK loot by player choice. Frequent 
immortal-run quests are also offered. An automated quest system 
is also available, creating the opportunity to save points for 
some of the best equipment in the game. Tokens can be traded 
with other players using a coded trade system.
