I'm still waiting for the answer from Tyche as for all of his juvenile insults and behaviors, inane accusations of my being a communist, marxist, socialist slut, etc.

Until he can give a viable and mature reason for being so rude without cause, I have little to say to him. I've also decided that Tyche's comments are little more than personal attacks and have very little information or much of anything to back them up.

There are quite a few people I tend to ignore on TMC, and Tyche was just added to the list, since he can't seem to have a conversation without tossing in various insults seemingly just for the sake of being contrary.

And Tyche, please feel free to put whatever spin you want on this, claiming I gave up or whatever. The fact of the matter is I have better things to do than waste my time on someone like you.

When you say 'I believe', it's not speculation, but on the other hand it's not 'absolute likelihood' either
"I believe" is stating a fact. However, it is not a testament to the belief, but rather the existence of the belief. Do you understand? "The World is Flat!" is different than "I believe the World is flat." Both are factual statements, where the first is stating the factual basis for the world being flat, the second is stating an opinion, which may or may not be true.

This is only relevant given the circumstances... You made a statement that "Icculus cannot be impartial". I made a statement of "No, you mean you believe he can't be. As well, I believe he can be". Then, you claimed I had made claims about how he will or won't behave, and called me a liar for claiming I hadn't.

Furthermore:
Not 'only an opinion' - it's a very reasonable, obvious opinion
In your eyes. Which is what makes it an opinion. If you want to make it more, you need to provide logical proof or some statistical basis. A wonder, isn't it, that I asked you for just those things numerous times and was denied. And yet, we're still having this same conversation.

that you are apparently the last to oppose.
Everyone else has abandoned the conversation. Don't assume that's due to agreement with you. I could likewise say you're the last to support it. Regardless, it's irrelevant.

That I said 'He cannot be impartail' was never meant as a fact of probability (i.e. that it's a scientific impossibility), but one of common phychology and good sense.
It stands to reason, as several people besides myself have already acknowledged.

No, it was acknowledged that he could be partial. And there is the difference. (By the way, I was one of the people acknowledging such.)

who's replying to whom?
Crazy Man in Subway: "THE WORLD IS ENDING! The World is Ending! HEY! YOU! *grabs a man by the collar* THE WORLD IS ENDING!"
Man: "The world isn't ending."
Crazy Man: "Why are you making this such a big deal?"

I've been done with the Icculus conversation. However, if you start calling me names, I'm going to call you on it.

Best of Luck,
-Jess

I am quite sure Tyche will be infinitely devastated by this turn of event. Hey Tyche, I know being ostracised by KA could be devastating so I just wanted to let you know there is a KA Anonymous group near where you live.
Shaken and stirred, brain damaged as a result.

Silly me. And here I thought it was you who was being insulting, mean, degrading, and otherwise ignorant. Tyche at least backed up everything he said with references and cold hard fact. Not really his fault you had your fingers in your ears choosing not to hear it.

Yeah but in order to do all that inchoate bloviating on the keyboard he had to have had both hands free.
I still maintain his head is stuck up his arse. ;-)

When the Nazis came for the
communists,

I remained silent;
I was not a communist.

When they locked up the
social democrats,

I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.

When they came for the
trade unionists,

I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionist.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.

I am prowd that there are plenty of Americans like Tyche who conduct themselves so professionally.
With the master puppet Bush to lead them, they will be victorious in the war on terrorism.
The Bush administration will continue to promote pressure (pressure is the new word for torture) and correctly claim that the president is the law.
<End of sarcastic statements>

If they could be granted three wishes many of them would wish to turn the middle east into a parking lot or at the very least to see the destruction of arab culture and possibly the death of all arabs.
That reminds me of the nazis.
<Start of sarcastic statements>
The remaining year of his presidency looks bad for some republicans, and great for others.
Some republicans will likely find this year to be a great year as the president is more successfull at making the North American Union and amnisty for illegals a reality.
For proof see
http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&q=%22American+Union%22&btnG=Search+News
This is because anything that Bush wants is automatically a good thing for some republicans.
Other republicans and some democrats will likely be dismayed to learn that the democrats are not interested in preventing unauthorized spying on Americans and wish to expand the war in Iraq while the president pretends the democrats are so bad while they give him what he wants.
<End of sarcastic statements>

Your free to frame me if you wish, however keep in mind that flames which do not take into account evidence I have presented do not matter and I will lose no sleep over them.
I am not sure this is true, but I have heard from a couple good sources that within 3-5 years half the ground forces in the US army will be non citizens.
Its almost a certainty that criminal elements of the US government sponsored 911, for evidence see http://www.infowars.com.
Infowars.com is packed with articles from the corporate media which implicate the criminal element of the US government in previous terrorist attacks and running drills using a near exact scenario as took place in the terrorist attacks on 911.
Also, there is Operation NorthWoods - an official US government plan to stage false flag operations.
False flag operations are simply operations where the goal is to carry out an objective while making it appear another country is behind it.
In the old days ships sometimes flew the flag of another country before going into battle.
I am truely glad there are many wise patriotic Americans who will work toards making America the great respectible country it was up until 60-70 years ago.

"Its almost a certainty that criminal elements of the US government sponsored 911"

This is the kind of crazy talk that undermines
the legitimacy of the opposition.

You might as well claim that www.fascist-pegasi.com
proves that winged horses caused aids as a plan
against the gay.

The other day some dude was fulminating against
me, calling me a puppet of the nazis because I
refused to believe gwb brought down the towers.

"It's a proven FACT that jet fuel can't get hot
enough to melt structural steel!"

And my response was, fine, I believe you. Going
from that to "gwb brought down the towers" is
called a "leap of faith".

Still, I apparently am a nazi tool.

It is positively *terrifying* to me that people
who appear normal and rational in every other
way suddenly reveal their tinhattery and how
impervious it is to reason.

On occasion I'll make a leap myself. I remember that on
the occasion of the signing of the military commissions
act of 2006, I found myself swayed by unscrupulous
lawyers who misrepresented the reach of the law into
the rights of US citizens on American soil.

I was mistaken, and I take responsibility for that
error. I should have known better.

Being able to take responsibility for your own
positions, and admit when you leap before looking,
is an important part of being a reasonable person.

I hope you will take the time to examine the
rationality of the bases for your beliefs and
reconsider your nutjob ideas. Because since you're
obviously bent on spewing them, the least you
could do is make the effort not to discredit
the people on your side of the fence by being the
whacko that justifies not taking any of them seriously.

That is absurd indeed that he called you that.
I do not expect, want, or need people to take my word for it, I simply want to get people thinking.
I believe there is a saying that says...
"I don't care what you think as long as you think."
As a constatutionalist believer in Jesus (notice I did not say christian) I feel that America is going in the wrong direction and losing the moral high ground it once had.
Fundamentalist belief in just about anything is probably absurd whether that be in religion, or politics.
Where religion is concerned I believe in Jesus and believe the bible was divinely enspired but am so sure its rittled with translation errors that I would barely hesitate to bet my life on it not being word for word the word of god.
The problem I see with nuking the middle east is that we would be knowingly destroying millions of inosent lives.
America was at one point liked and highly respected in the middle east.
I know there are real terrorists out there who say they are muslims.
There are so many "christians" who wish to nuke the middle east that I would trust a muslim stranger more than a christian stranger.
This is because hypocrisy seems a far greater part of the christian world than the muslim world.
I imagine this is partly because I do not know very many muslims and would guess if muslims in general are less prone to hypocrisy it would be because
the muslim religion (from what I can tell) is not is accepting of free will.

I do not mean to offend anyone, I just mean to have a civilized discussion.
I respect Cratylus and Samson and hope they will be able to respect my opinion even if they do not agree.
