Ok, here is my problem. I have circlmud 3.0 and i'm writing in a code that combines two players into one. It also combines their name and my question is, does anyone know what I could do to make it substitute the characters name all around, without litterally replacing the name and making a new character, it just needs to give the appearance that that is there name.

That would depend on where you want this name change to show up (just IC? In channels? On the who list?) and how they're displayed currently. IC are they just names, short descriptions? Using some sort of introduction system? I'm not sure about circle but rom pulls names or 'someone' etc from a macro, easiest thing if this is true for you would be to slip something in there to check the flag (fusion you DBer? Merged? whatever) and if it's true display the new name (another entry in the character record I would think. Hope that helps.
