1. Need help making an imm on newly started godwars deluxe mud

how do you create an imm on a godwars deluxe mud, i have the mud up and running but cant get an imm.

I would assume it is as easy as the other codebases out there. First create a character in the running process/game. Then go into your shell, find the playerfile and raise its max level to the level your head admin slot is at. Forinstance our players top out at 100, so it woudl say toplevel:100 however the gods on the game have top levels of 101-110
. then save the file in the shell and try logging in again. this time you shopuld be a god..... if only it were that easy in real life.

Do a grep for do_relevel. It should be in act_wiz.c or some such file, don't remember exactly. Once you find it, edit the file, find the do_relevel process and add your name in. Compile the code, reboot, make a character with the same name you added, save and simply type in relevel to gain the power.
