For when y'all are done with Shasharak's. (Osiris' disclaimer applies here, too: I've never done this before, so puzzle may or may not work. They seem to rely on someone only having to make one single connection to be able to solve it, and it's hard to gauge how easy the connection will be to make...)

Mrs Sanatogen got the fright of her life every Thursday.
Eventually she became so stressed it drove her husband to drink. Then she started getting frightened on Mondays and Thursdays.
Then her neighbours moved out. Now she's frightened all the time.

Why?

Is her getting frightened on Mondays somehow the result of her husband starting to drink heavily?

Is the fact that her name is Sanatogen relevant?

Did her neighbours move out because of her husband's drinking?
Please do not feed the troll.

Yes

> Is the fact that her name is Sanatogen relevant?

No

> Did her neighbours move out because of her husband's drinking?

Huh?

(remembering of course, for those getting in late, that 'Huh?' covers absolutely _everything_ that isn't 100% 'yes' or 100% 'no')

Are both of them completely human?

Is Thursday the day the wife or husband recieves income of any kind?

Is the husband causing the wife's fright somehow?

Is the wife's fright rational, meaning something most people would fear, or does she have a mental condition?

Is the source of her fright something the police (or coppers for you UK blokes) should be helping her with?

Do they both live in a house?

Is the source of her fright something contained within the house?

Did the neighbors move out because of her?

Did the neighbors move out because of her husband?

Was anyone else frightened?

Is she frightened when at home?

Is she frightened in the presence of her husband?

Is she frightened in the absence of her husband?

Is she frightened by a person?

Is she frightened by an inanimate thing?

Is she frightened by a living thing?

Is she the source of her own fright?

Is any other person besides her husband involved in causing her fright?

Is Thursday the day she uses a pregnancy test because her husband's religion forbids birth control?

Now that he's drinking all the time does that put him in the mood more often and mean she has to use a pregnancy test twice a week... IE on Mondays also?

Best Wishes,

Osiris

Does she fear being alone?

Would her fear be considered normal?

Is her fear understandable?

Does she have any psychotic problems?

Does the source of her fear come and go from the home?

Is she frightened by an animal?

Is there any supernatural or fantasy aspect to this story?

Does the thing that frightens her, frighten any other person?

Is her husband aware of the thing that frightens her?

Or, has her husband seen the thing that frightens her?

Is her husband frightened even slightly by it?

Does the husband believe that the thing exists?

Does the husband think his wife has a psychiatric problem?

Is there more than one other person involved in causing her fright?

Does she know the person or persons involved in causing her fright?

Is the person or persons involved in causing her fright known by her husband?

Is the person or persons involved in causing her fright related?

Did the neighbors move out because of anything the husband does?

Do the neighbors know what is causing the wifes fright?

Are any of the neighbors also frightened?

Is the source of her fright a person and animal together?

Is the person or thing causing the wifes fright afraid of her husband?

Best Wishes,

Osiris

I'm confused, it seems the source of her fright is both an animal and several people (relatives) but not a combination?

Is the source of her fright her own children?

Did you consider her children 'animals' for the previous questions?

Best Wishes,

Osiris

Huh? (hint: reread the wording of the questions. I am being as pedantic as possible with my answers.)

Is the specific source of her fright a non-human animal?

Is the specific source of her fright more than one person, less than five?

Er that could be a huh answer.

Is the specific source of her fright a group of people numbering less than 5?

Is Thursday trash day for the Sanatogen household?

Did the trashman start coming on Mondays as well?

Is there an animal digging through their trash?

Are the Sanatogens being investigated?

Are they on America's Most Wanted?

Do the Sanatogens have any pets?

Is/Are the pet(s) trained?

Is/Are the pet(s) the cause of the Mrs'. fright?

Was the Mrs. attacked by an animal?

Was the Mrs. attacked by a human?

Can the animal fly?

Is the cause of her fight an airplane that coincidentally drops the passengers' 'loads(urine and fecal matter)' on/around the house every Thursday, then started doing it on Mondays as well?

I forgot a real question, so I'll stop here. ¡Hasta Luego!
Please leave a message after the s-:BLEEP:-t, uhh.. I mean !¡BEEP!¡

Is the animal that frightens her an actual animal as opposed to a representation of one (for example a picture, or something on TV)?

Is the animal real, as opposed to a model or some kind of fake?

Is the animal being deliberately released or placed by people?

Is the animal being accidentally released by people?

Is the animal under the control of people?

Do people intend to frighten Mrs S?

Do they intend to use an animal to frighten her?

Does the animal come during the day?

Does the animal come at night?

Can Mrs S see the animal clearly?

Is the animal less than 2 inches long or wide along its longest axis?

Less than 4 inches?

Less than 8 inches?

Less than 12 inches?

Less than 18 inches?

Less than 2 feet?

Less than 3 feet?

Less than 4 feet?

Could the animal be described as vermin?

Could the animal be classed as a carnivore?

Is the animal native to the country where Mrs S lives?

Does Mrs S live in the United States of America?

If she were standing next to it, would the animal be capable of causing her significant physical harm?

Is the cause of her newer fright on Mondays the same as the cause of her original fright on Thursdays?

Is the cause of her now-constant fright the same as the original cause of her fright on Thursdays?

Does this story take place in the present day or close to it, as opposed to some other historical era or in the future?

Is the husband in any way responsible for the animal's appearance?

Is the animal owned by members of Mrs S' family?

Is Mrs S' fear of the animnal significantly greater than a typical member of the population would feel towards the same animal?

Is the animal a pet?

Is Mrs S frightened by what the animal represents as opposed to being frightened of the animal itself?

Please do not feed the troll.
