After careful study of a bountiful quantity of "mobs" across countless MUDs, I have failed to comprehend how the mobs procreate. I, at first, decided that perhaps the mobs were asexual but alas, some of them had a single gender. I then concluded that perhaps they were afraid to "do the mambo" with me watching so I went invisible, but they only seemed to walk aimlessly around. I tried countless ways to "sneak up" on the mobs, even sometimes catch them in the act but not a single time succeeded.

It's strange, however, that one time in a room a mob suddenly left south that was not there to begin with! Perhaps the mobs themselves that procreate are invisible? Unfortunately, with detect_invis on myself, I failed to see where these hatchlings occured and was staggered by the rapid growth that suggested they were born an adult. Perhaps someone can explain this strange occurence to me?

...was this a flame? Shouldn't it be humorous in that case?

I personally would rather have a Flames board than a Humor board. Humor tends to spark flames anyhow so why not just skip the first step?

We're in need of a serious analysation of the experts. Regarding mob sex, did you enable the FILTY_PORN flag on your mud? mob's are fokking like crazy 24-7-365, just that all the action is gagged by an internal boolean. I had it on for a while, but turned it back off, got annoyed with slipping over all the sperm that was lying about. Beside, watching orks breed isn't a nice sight, it's almost animal sex *shivers*

Copulating mobs are kept hidden in order to maintain the PG-13 rating. If you type real fast you might catch them kissing, holding hands, or breathing heavy but always with one foot on the floor.

Stop insulting animals. Orks are much worse.

Actually I figure it out!!! Every time someone pulls tyche's finger all mobs in the world spawn an offspring! Thats how the mob population reproduces so quickly.

It's the Flame Theory, a Mob is born every 0.004 seconds, approximately the time it takes for one person sometwhere in the world to find fault in someone else and go FREAKIN' MENTAL!!!!!

So, therefore, the two are connected, keep yelling guys, I'm leveling off this!!!!
