Hello everyone,
I hope some of you can help me out. I am trying to find any publicly available codebases out there that I can download where the movement system is a "true" coordinate-based system. What I am looking for are ideas and examples of systems that don't use rooms, but instead use a system of movement based on coordinates. I've looked at SWR (and another I can't remember right now), but I would like to look at any/all that are out there. At the least, I would like to compile a list of codebases out there that use coordinate systems. If anyone has any ideas, names, websites, etc. I would greatly appreciate it! My google and TMC searches haven't turned up too many useful names!
Thanks a ton, Lanthum

Check out BattletechMUX, currently features a real-time, 3d coordinate-based combat system with a variety of unit types: * Mechs (Biped or Quad) * Tanks (Tracked, Wheeled, and Hover) * VTOL (Choppers) * Navals (Submarines, Hydrofoils, and basic Displacement Hulls) * BattleSuits * DropShips The learning curve is a little bit steep but it's an extremely powerful tool for creating a futuristic warfare game.
