I've recently installed DJGPP on my XP system. I have no clue how it is to be used. If I could get a little run through on how to use it, with command prompt if possible, that would be great. Thank you.

There is in fact a walkthru on the djgpp site.
This is not the appropriate forum for your questions as they have nothing to do with advanced coding and design.

1) This topic doesn't belong here at all. If anything, it belongs on the Beginner Mud Admin board.
2) If you want to compile a mud, check the mud's README files and follow the instructions. Typically, you go to the mud's source directory and type 'make'.
3) If you just want to know generally how to use the compiler, compilers usually have a lot of documentation. Read it. From Tyche's post, I gather that DJGPP even has an online walkthrough of some kind. What more can you ask for?
