Hello,

i'm considering quitting betterbox.net since their mud engineer quitted.

They hosted Ensimud for 8 years. Almost no problems, quick responses to my emails. Nothing to rant. But now they said they won't continue support to muds, and i need that.

I'm looking for a new host with :

- minimal 300 meg hard drive space
- mysql database with at least 200 meg spaces
- 40 MB ram
- accept payment by mastercard

- Allowing pserver/ext cvs connections sources/data is a BIG plus.

If, as a mud admin, you are hosted by a company which fit my requierement, and you have good feedback/experience, please, tell me.

I have used www.genesismuds.com for going on 3 years now and have never experienced anything negative with them.

We recently moved from betterbox to RPG Works. Patrick (the administrator) has provided top notch customer service and an outstanding package for a minimal amount of money.

Granted we have only been there 1.5 months but I like how quickly he was able to set us up. He also allowed me to test out his services prior to buying.

I have worked with both Dune and GenesisMUDs, and I can't say anything bad about either of them, although I never worked with MySQL or CVS on them. I have recently rented a Virtual Private Server, and it is quite liberating compared to a normal host, although perhaps twice as expensive.
